The Nobel Peace Prize and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter traveled despite the Gemäkels many political colleagues in the Middle East, and conferred with Hamas, whose willingness to explore how it could be an Israeli-Palestinian peace treaty.
As a result, Carter said the talks that the Hamas leadership negotiated a peace treaty between Israel and Abbas will not oppose, if it refers to an Israel within its 1967 borders and the treaty will go in favor of a Palestinian referendum. This conversation
result can be a milestone on the road to peace, if only he would seriously wanted.
Who now still refuses diplomatic relations and negotiations with Hamas because it refuses to recognize the State of Israel, just will not go the necessary steps, but dictate the fate of the military, the loss of face for Hamas, and ultimately to the Palestinians, too bad they may be always represented by Hamas.
