My Husband Stinks Of Cigarettes

conservatism

The following statement by Angela Merkel made me now a little confused: "I want to emphasize again that we are a party with three roots.: Liberal, Socialist and Christian-conservative"

eg here

My first thought was: how can you rely on as a party, and with a certain pride in being conservative? Who can it find it great to be sealed in the policy open to new? hold stubbornness of old, to have put on blinders, grandparents in revolutionary manner fundamentally reject, just because it is unknown.
I just do not understand at this moment.

After a little thought, I realize that this view of 'conservative' is from my teenage years. The black was not always the members of our generation. Those who blocked stunning new ideas and with the irresistible urge for change (which is almost a definition of youth) were at loggerheads. Firmly connected with the political nature of the term was of conservatism.

It is indeed of this preserve, which will, perhaps even protect. On demand, the Union refers to values it most. Christian values, socially responsible way is the party and many basic, more abstract, therefore coming to be called the pillars.

And again I do me hard. Where these values are actually put into practice? At the armed forces debate, as in the remarks to the Sarazzin affair, which remains without any further action? I can not find any examples. Is it because the Union is in a slight identity crisis?

In any event, has not helped me even after such consideration, and I stand there like to start and wonder how Mrs Merkel called in the current situation on it and stress it can to be conservative?

Maybe it's just as well on this concept: conservatism is as accurate as conservatism. As you can possibly ever find a clear line ;-)
